The project „service4health“ has been initiated by Mrs. Prof. Dr. Bouncken, Owner of Chair of Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Bayreuth. The chair deals with strategies and the organization of innovation projects including their human resources policy antecedences and diversities. Furthermore, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Bouncken can look back on many years of research and publication in the field of service management. Service management comprises topics like process systems, value chains, measurement of effectiveness, knowledge transfer within and between service providers as well as customer satisfaction. The chair has already successfully completed many third-party funded and joint research projects, e. g. Cultural Diversity in Innovation Teams (funded by the Volkswagenstiftung) and Move2Health (Processes and research transfer in the health sector; funded by the BMVBS). The project Flex4Work (Transition to flexible human resources strategies; funded by the BMBF, ESF) delivered important basics for the current project Service4Health. Furthermore, more than 130 publications have been submitted by Mrs. Prof. Dr. Bouncken.
